REMOTECAMSYSTEMS AT GYMNASTICS EURO CUP IN BERN

From May 25 to June 5, the city of Bern focused on elegant apparatus gymnastics – and the Swiss Television SRF had us right in the middle of it! We accompanied the men’s team and apparatus finals on May 28 and 29. On the following weekend, we were on location for the women’s apparatus finals. With 6,000 spectators on this follow-up weekend, the PostFinance Arena was completely sold out for the first time during the Euro cup – the perfect conditions to capture emotions from the audience.

Especially when it comes to delicate gymnastics movements, it is important not to miss out on the finest details. Our Cablecam operated on an almost 90-meter-long track and delivered a bird’s-eye view for the audience! This perspective would not have been possible with the technology installed in the PostFinance Arena in Bern. Our live coverage was used for both SRF and the World Feed. All in all, the Gymnastics Euro Cup in Bern was a complete success – both for more than 31,000 visitors on-site, as well as for viewers in front of TV screens.
