Cablecam with tradition
Cablecam with tradition
Every six years, the Unspunnen-Schwinget puts on a show on the idyllic Höhematte in Interlaken. What once served to reconcile city dwellers and country folk has now grown into an important event that focuses on Switzerland’s rich culture and tradition. Wielders from all corners of the country gather to find the baddest of the bad.
The use of our rope camera is almost as traditional as this sport. The cablecam attached to a rope offered spectacular aerial shots that captured the efforts and impressive technique of the wrestlers from unusual perspectives. The majestic backdrop of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau made the experience even more impressive for spectators on site or watching on screen.
Our heartfelt congratulations go to Samuel Giger from north-eastern Switzerland, who secured the well-deserved title in a gripping final battle despite the cold and wet conditions.
