Camera crane “Wetten, dass…?”
“Wetten, dass…?” has shaped German, Austrian and Swiss television entertainment since its launch on February 14, 1981. With outlandish bets and wagers, the show captivated audiences – not least because of Thomas Gottschalk’s entertaining outfits and moderation.
While Gottschalk was experiencing his last moments as host of “Wetten dass…?”, the RemoteCamSystems team was on site for a special outdoor bet. The Stans Oberdorf rope pulling club wanted to pull the Stanserhorn cable car ten meters up the mountain in just two minutes – loaded with 40 people. While the men mobilized all their strength, the “Supertechno 22” camera crane panned over the action and captured the impressive performance – which, incidentally, was successful – for television viewers and the studio audience.
We would like to express our sincere thanks for this impressive commission and are already looking forward to further broadcasting formats that will write television history.
